So for context on Sunday night, President Donald Trump issued an extraordinary attack on Pope Leo on his social media platform, Truth Social. And in a lengthy, incoherent

diatribe posted just after 9 p.m., the president said, among other things, that Leo is weak on

crime, terrible for foreign policy, wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon. And he also takes

credit for Leo's election as the first American Pope.

He said if he wasn't in the White House, then Pope Leo would not be in the Vatican.
