Just three nights ago, Elon Musk was receiving a standing ovation from President Trump and

congressional Republicans before a joint session of Congress.

The president personally thanked him and said, you're working very hard.

But tonight, a new report shows that Musk wasn't as warmly received by Trump's cabinet

behind closed doors in a meeting last night.

The headline for the New York Times reads,

Now, the New York Times says that Thursday's meeting was abruptly scheduled one night earlier.

That would be about the same time that

sources say House Republicans were meeting with Musk also behind closed doors to try and reassert their

power of the purse. The Times says the cabinet meeting was a sign that Trump is mindful of
