So look, we're going to take today off, but there's another reason why we have to take

today off, we'll be back in your feed tomorrow morning.

We're in the middle of obviously in a consequential moment here, the second and second of each

minute Donald Trump.

I've just actually got off the air as we just began the debate in the House of Representatives

overseeing that coverage.

And the fact of the matter is this is going to be unlike any impeachment we've seen because

for the first time ever, you're going to see more members of the opposite party support

impeachment than we've ever had.

Not for Andrew Johnson's impeachment, not for Bill Clinton's impeachment and not for

the first Donald Trump impeachment.

So that alone makes this an extraordinary moment, not in both American history and American

politics.

We're going to find out by the end of today, today being Wednesday, just how divided this

Republican party is.

Clearly, the leadership like Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney see this as the last exit ramp

to expunge the party of Trump.

If they can do it and there's various ways people use Trump as a metaphor as the virus

inside the party, is he a cancerous tumor.
