Oh, hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

So we have reached the 100-day mark in the second Trump term, and the press are losing their minds because the president is

pulling three points lower than he was at his 100-day mark in 2017. But really, who cares?

He always polls badly. It was kind of remarkable that he was pulling as high as he was at the beginning of his second term.

He did receive a little bit of a honeymoon period.

Things went so fast and furious during this hundred days.

And there was a lot of whiplash.

There was a lot of breakneck speed.

There were things that people could not have anticipated and they were

incapable of stomaking, which leads me to the conclusion that the 100 day mark is pretty much

arbitrary. There's really all of this hullabaloo around the idea of 100 days because it's a nice solid century. It's an

identifiable number, but that should not be the only benchmark for measuring presidential success

or failure. It was very interesting. There was an ABC News, Washington Post, Ipsos poll that showed

73 percent of the country feel that the president's policies are putting the country on the

wrong track. Their biggest concerns, of course, were the concerns that they came into his presidency

with and the reason that they a lot

of people voted for him and that was the economy inflation fears of a recession the fears of

recession have not gone away for many because they are worried that the global tit for tat on

tariffs especially with China are going to tip the balance

of the world economy in the wrong direction. And that's very much a possibility, because when you

have 145 percent tariffs with such a massive trading partner and these two hegemon behemoths really incapable or uninterested in budging,

it's going to be a painful process not only for those countries and all the companies,
