says he's extending the ceasefire with Iran indefinitely until talks are concluded, quote,

one way or the other.

The president made that announcement yesterday on social media just one day before the two-week

truce was set to expire.

Trump said that at the request of Pakistani mediators, he would hold off on attacking Iran

until the country's fractured in his words government can come up with a unified proposal.

The president, however, added the U.S. military blockade of Iranian ports will remain in place
