Studios in central London. I'm Tim Franks. And we're beginning with the war between Israel and Iran

now into its fifth day. The Israelis say they've staged wave after wave of attacks on Iranian

sites, particularly those from where drones and missiles are launched.

The Iranians say they've aimed their attacks on Israeli security installations,

and including they claim, at the headquarters of the Mossad, the Israeli spy agency.

There's also been some extremely pugnacious language out of Washington from President Trump,

who has just, we're hearing, finished convening his National Security Council.

He said in a social media post,

We, we are not going to kill Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,

at least not for now.

But he's an easy target and our patience is wearing thin.

What's she been hearing from the Israeli military today?

They have been continuing strikes on Iran

and continuing what they describe as they're sort of varying different

targets, military targets, infrastructure targets. They say that they have assassinated another

military commander, one who replaced one of the commanders that was assassinated in the last

couple of days. So they feel that they are making progress through what they see as a sort of broad list of military targets,

both in the sort of personnel sense, but also in terms of actual structures.

They also have repeated this line that they now have sort of aerial dominance over Tehran,

and they are essentially warning for further attacks if they don't see Iran back down on
