hey, being humans good news after all,

let's make a go of it.

I think that you can, you know,

walk and chew gum psychologically in that respect.

It's doable and that from that kind of cast of mind,

the kind of state craft we need now is thinkable,

is possible and is something that doesn't just require,

you know, smarter and smarter people,

like we've seen what the smart people can do

and a lot of smart people are sort of not who you want

to be in charge, especially in a moment like this.

Some of them are good, some of them do good stuff.

There is, I think, a colorable argument that like,

oh, everything's falling apart.

Like engineers to the front of the line,

make sure that, you know, the nukes don't go off

and that the supply chain doesn't collapse.

Like, yeah, that's, that's reasonable.

But we're gonna need, we're gonna need more,

much more from more than just the engineers,
