Hello again, I'm Armin Alney, and this is To the Point from Public Radio International,

a daily look at the issues Americans care about most.

In last night's speech to the nation, President Obama announced executive action to protect up to

five million undocumented people from deportation. If Republicans don't like it, he told them what

they can do. Pass a bill. But even though the GOP will control both houses of Congress, they're

focused on attacking the president's action, rather than unifying behind new legislation.

We'll hear about the legality of the executive order and what it could mean for the next

two years of a lame duck in the White House.
