The president says it's

worth $75 billion to rescue 9 million homeowners already in default or underwater, with loans

worth more than their houses. He said his plan will not reward speculators, dishonest lenders,

or those who bought homes they knew they couldn't afford. The President wants to stop foreclosures

and slow the slide in

home prices. Is that a good idea? Will $75 billion be enough to meet his objectives? We'll hear
