She is the winner of this year's tiny desk contest, which was held earlier this year.

And she came into the tiny desk and went on a tour.

Multiple city tour as result of winning.

And her profile just increased, just blew up.

I feel like there's almost something distinctly Latino about the tiny desk.

I think music for our community is the thing, right?

And it's how we build community.

It's how we feel together.

And I mean, nothing describes the tiny desk better than that.

When you think about all of the Latino musicians who have come from various parts of the Spanish-speaking world

to perform behind the desk, they all have that in common.

It's like one little single space that everybody has in common that is part of the community,
