So astronomers and UFOs, this is a great talk because, you know, a lot of times, and I'll get more into this in just a second, people will say if there were something to UFOs, astronomers would know this or they would be involved also somehow. but they are.

And so that is a silly comment that people make when they say such things.

So I love this talk.

This is one of my favorite talks.

But let us begin, my friends, astronomers and UFOs the driving force behind UFO research so this is Seth Shostak many of you know him

some of you might have cringed when you saw that because a lot of people in the UFO field

aren't big fans of Cess Shaw stacks.

I personally am a big fan of his.

If you haven't seen him talk, he's a great speaker.

In fact, this picture right here is from a TED talk that he does about aliens and it's

really, really good.

And that's what's funny.

You know, sure, he's a skeptic when it comes to UFOs, but, you know, he is a big proponent

that there are alien civilizations out there.

And of course, SETI stands for the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.

The SETI Institute is actually what he works for.

But SETI itself is actually a field of study, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.

So he's not the only one that does that, or nor is the institute he represents the only one that does that.

Scientists across the world do this, and we'll talk more about this.

Let's see where this goes.
