If you have your Bible, I want you to go together with me to Book of Joshua chapter 3.

But as you open your Bible to Book of Joshua chapter 3 I want to read verse

3 and they commended the people saying when you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God

and the priests and the Levites bearing it then you shall set out from your place and go after it

and verse 7 and the Lord said to Joshua, this day I will begin to exalt you in the

side of all Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, I am with you.

I'm going to also read verse 13, and it shall come to pass as soon as the souls of your feet

of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord,

the Lord of all the earth shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off.

And the waters that come up down from the stream, they shall stand as a heap.

Hungry generation exists to lead people to encounter God daily. What you heard this morning

about a young man who struggled with insecurities, struggled with suicides, struggled to hurt

himself, comes to a service. It wasn't the music, it wasn't even the preaching, all of that the Lord used to touch a man. I didn't know his story. I didn't know what he was coming from. He probably seen a lot of counselors, a lot of men and women who helped him and people who tried their best. One moment of an encounter with God takes person from darkness to light, took a person from

death to life, took a person from bondage to freedom, took a person from life that has

no meaning I want to die to a life that has a meaning and purpose where he now helps

other people. There is no substitute for an encounter with God. And when I say an

encounter with God, it's when the God of universe touches you at the deepest parts that nobody else

knows you. Your life never is the same afterward. Please understand Christianity is not a religion.

It's a relationship. You cannot live only on
