The NFL preseason week one is finally upon us.

I have headlines to bring to you this week what I think are the major talking points,

not the obvious touchdowns or big performances,

but more of the impactful, influential metrics

or snap data usage that could correspond to actual regular season value. Before I get to that,

All right. No specific order, but here we go. Up first is that Hendon Hooker is back from his torn ACL recovery and makes for an intriguing Superflex stash.

He had a team high, 34 yards rushing on his attempts, including a 16-yard carry, where he lowered his shoulder to initiate contact for a first down,

which you love to see from a quarterback in terms of using his legs to increase his floor and ceiling of fantasy,

but that's where

unfortunately could get hurt. And actually in this game, had a hooker left in the fourth quarter

with a concussion. So that's unfortunate. Otherwise, five and nine is a passer for 36 yards. That was

against the Giants. Nate Sudfeld is Detroit's other backup quarterback option for Jared Gough. Make

no mistake, Jared Gough is Detroit's clear-cut starter, but I do think

that in a superflex league where you have Jared Goff or just simply need a quarterback four,

or five, or six for depth opportunity to potentially have standalone value. Headed Hooker,
