I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score.

As always, I am joined by the scores David P. Woods, a man who combined fantasy football

with the framework of the European Champions League soccer to make one of the most elaborate

but entertaining fantasy leagues I'm in. Woods, you started the league last year. I can

confess it's a ton of fun. Why don't you let everybody know some of the unique aspects of that

league? Well, that's really nice of you to say. I mean, it's my favorite league. My goal there was just

sort of take the way that it works in, say, for Manchester United. I mean, they can win the

Premier League, but they can also win

the Champions League. They can try to win the FAA Cup. And if you're out of the running for one of them, you can sort of focus on another one. Because fantasy football always boils down to just that one championship at the end. But what I wanted to do was sort of introduce some side competitions. So we have a survivor competition that starts at the beginning of the year where we eliminate teams with the lowest score each week whoever's left standing there gets a cash prize we have a week

where you get a week where you get to put

your bench players into a special lineup and they all sort of go into a separate contest and play

against each other so it's sort of extra things along the way a few extra prizes and just more fun

more things to do i think that's like something people don't do enough of i I think people should be trying to improve on the fantasy game, right? I know we all love the standard leagues that we're in, but coming up with inventive ways, it's just going to make fantasy more fun. Yeah, I mean, there's lots you can do. We have a week in that league where you get to steal a player from other teams. Like, that's a pretty chaotic and fun week. And there's, it's's not there's not a way to do that within

fantasy providers but you can just do it on the side and then force guys to make trades or as commissioner

you can edit the lineups invent rules like fantasy can be anything i encourage people you know change

your league up try different things so over the last couple weeks we broke down each position

giving you an idea of how you could approach it in drafts. You can go back,
