Welcome to Inside the Huddle.

We are another week closer to the start of the NFL season, and it's all gearing up nicely,

joining me to break down all the latest from America at my partner, Jeff Reinbold.

How are you, Jeff?

I am outstanding, but not nearly as good as you are.

Oh, my goodness, Jeff, what a week.

So we have had talk about cutting it fine. So George applied for his

study permit in May and it's been ongoing all this time. We got to Monday of this week and he still

didn't have it and he's got a report to the team. We travel Friday, the 27th of August. He's got a report to

the team on Sunday. And we were just in desperation. So we were trying all sorts of different

phone calls. Shout out to my MP, Tracy Crouch, who's a massive Green Bay Packers fan. I'm sure

she was making lots of calls behind the scenes.

Jeff, we even went to the Canadian Embassy in London on Tuesday, hour and a half into London,

turned up at the front door. Have you ever seen that giff with the Simpsons where old

Grandpa Simpson walks in, puts his hat down, walks back out again? It was like that. It was, we literally went up to

the front gate, said, can we speak to anyone? We've only ever had like automated replies. Nope.

Please, nope. Have, where have we traveled all the way in? Nope. It was like, okay, fine. Got a coffee

and drove home again. The spirits were so low Tuesday morning.

And then whatever magic was being worked behind the scenes, Tuesday night,

George just walks down the stairs.
