Hello and welcome to Group Shot. I am Justin Barrier. Joining me is always Rob Mahoney.

Big was Rob. I see that you're also starting your emo era.

Starting, starting to say Justin as if we have ever left. This is where we've been since the

early 2000s. We're glad to have Jimmy on board. Obviously he's a welcome addition to our now

fourth wave emo generation. Was have you ever been to a warp tour? I have not, but I was pleasantly

amused by learning that Rob was indeed an emo kid from his wife. We met in high school at our

now infamous dinner in the great city of Stockholm. Yes, we almost died several times during this dinner.

A Viking neo-Nazi-looking guy scared the shit out of us. Probably about 12 times.

Yes, during the course of this thing, but yet I was one of my main takeaways from that was that

Rob was an emo kid in high school, man. He was playing hacky sack outside the lunchroom.

Okay. There's a slightly adjacent demo, but we'll forgive the transgression.

Was MCR like your wedding song? No, I mean, look, I won't allow any MCR disparagement on this podcast,

but they're a little like to down the middle emo for my taste. It's a whole podcast onto itself.

Interesting. Not deep cut enough. Not deep cut enough. I mean, look, they have some deep cuts that

still hit. I heard Helena on the radio the other day. Still rocks. Look, they got it. Still banks.

Still banks. No doubt. But we can dig a little deeper.
