Summary

The dispute between our hosts about which denomination is the greatest in the kingdom of God—the OPC or the PCA—might never end. Aiming to minimize any controversy and tension within the denomination, we bring in a sound-minded PCA southern gentleman to share some good news. Brad Isbel is a ruling elder in his church, one of the hosts of the podcast Presbycast (where he’s AKA “Chortles Weakly”), and the director of MORE in the PCA, which is the topic of the day. 1:02.3	And it is great to be with you here today. I was just talking to Carl a moment ago about the glories and the wonders of being in the PCA
1:13.6	over against being in that old stodgy, you know, cranky OPC that Carl seems to thrive in.
1:21.6	Very short conversation, I have to say. We covered the wonders in about, oh, five seconds, something like that.
1:28.4	Well, it's funny, Carl, because, you know, you have said before, and rightly so, that, you know, you and the OPC, you have your problems, you have your issues.
1:37.9	And one of these days, I want to do a program where we really delve into that. I want to know the inside track on the OPC.
1:46.9	A major problem is that we're so great.
1:50.2	The temptation to pride is almost overwhelming.
1:53.3	Yeah, I assumed that that was one of them, no doubt.
1:57.7	That's the burden we have to bear, man.
1:59.3	That's a cross-sering the PCA. You've been the PCA, you don't have to bear that one.
2:03.2	Yeah. Now, I will say, maybe Carl, you have not had this experience, but I will say that I've encountered a few crazy people from the OPC as well.
2:11.4	I don't know if you ever have, but apparently there are. Do not take Cruella DeVille as typical of the kind of person we have in the OPC.
