lineup here on KFI. We're going to plunge right into this hour with Carl DeMaio. He's on

frequently with us, Republican San Diego Assemblyman, and he has an organization called Reform California, and they are getting a referendum on the ballot that's going to require voter ID.

You may have heard this is a big topic nationally, but DiMaio is getting this taken care of

in California. Let's talk to Carl right now. How are you? I'm pretty exhausted. It's been six months

of pretty hellacious signature drive, but we're there.

We got 1.3 million signatures.

We're now going through one last round of validation internally because we do an audit of our

signatures to make sure that they're accurate and valid because we don't want to just leave

it to chance.

We don't trust the Democrat politicians in the state of California not to disqualify

valid signatures, so we want to be able to document that we did it

and that we should be put on the ballot in November.
