Jesus wants to visit your family, your church, your country, wants to visit our world with

His presence and His glory.

He wants to visit you.

He wants to visit me with his presence and his glory.

So what do we need to do to prepare the way and build a highway for him?

Yesterday, we heard part one of a message Nancy first delivered at a Reviver

Hearts conference in South Africa. She began to unpack Isaiah 40 with us.

That passage says, in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord.

Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Nancy compared building that highway to our process of repentance.

She says when we do that, we're able to appreciate the presence

of God in a fresh way and experience revival. Let's pick up with part two of this message.

What is the result when every obstacle has been removed, when the way has been prepared for

King Jesus? Well, verse 5 tells us, then, when, when all these things

have been done, when we've humbled the high places, when we've filled in the low places,

when we've straightened out the crooked places, when we've made smooth the rough places,

then the glory of the Lord shall be revealed. And all flesh shall see it together,

for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. The glory of God is revealed in the face of Christ.
