preparing for the end.

When an elderly guy like you start talking about that, people get the wrong idea. They might. They might. You missed a part of that sentence, Greg. Did I? What did I mess? Of the year. The end of the year. The end of the year. That's right. There's a lot we got to do to prepare for the end of the year. And I'm not talking about buying people presents, am I? No, no. But if you'd like to do that, you know where I live, Greg. I do, but sometimes it's hard to keep track of where you are at any given moment, that's true. That's true. Especially since we've been using these, these fake backgrounds on our video. So I can't, I can't look behind you and say, oh, you're in Hawaii.

It could be in your basement right now. You'd never know. It's possible. I'll go check after the show. Just to be sure. All right. Just to check. Yeah. Sleep with one eye open. All right. The end of the year. The end of the year. Preparing for the end of the year at the end. Okay. There's a lot of miles and points-ish things that we need to do.

So we're going to talk about what we're planning on doing, where we've succeeded, I guess,

in already taking care of things and where we've utterly failed, what creative ideas we have

for taking care of those things before the end of the year, and so on and so forth. First, we have the giant mail bag. Giant mail today is going to be based on memory

because the actual giant mail was quite long and I don't really see any need to read it verbatim.

The basic idea is this.

Rita wrote in he had a Sapphire Reserve card with 150,000 points accumulated on that account.

And he decided to close that account so that he could open a Sapphire preferred card and get the new welcome bonus on that.

And so, of course, when he did that, he lost all 150,000 points.

Now, he called Chase a few times to try to get this corrected. And he actually finally was able to get the points reinstated.

And he thinks, and this is probably true, that because he had contacted Chase within 30 days,
