Where were you on 9-11?

I was in E-5 in the US Army.

It was my fourth, going on fourth year of the infantry,

and I kind of was transitioning to the guard coming off active duty off of a four or five year

stint and then it happened and then propel me back into the army.

You stayed.

A lot of people stayed in or got in after that.

And then eventually along the way, you could, you did a few things,

there was a path to get there, but Q Force, Army Special Forces, what was that, when you look back on that experience,

what stands out to you and what was it like to get your break?

Because for us it's changed over times and the teams you had to first obviously graduate

buds and then go to your team then go something something called seal

qualification training and back in the day you still didn't have your Trident at that

point then you go to your platoon and in your platoon you'd be on

probation kind of like a cop doing you know out there with somebody that's you know

doing right see left see kind of a kind of a thing evaluating them so you're

evaluated by your platoon as you go through this

first workup and they decide whether you're somebody that they want to go into

combat with and then they give you after a little bit of test, then they give you

your trident and then they pound that thing in different today obviously but

getting the Bray is getting the Bray something similar some like a similar or feeling to that you

think yeah I think so I mean it was it was pretty crazy because right
