My brothers and sisters, we all know that we are in the month of Shahrban at the moment, correct?

We all know that there are a few more days left before we start fighting about the moon, correct?

Did I say something wrong?

May Allah forgive us all.

We all know that Ramadan is about to begin. It normally begins with instead of moon-sighting, moon-fighting. Have you heard that?

And this is why, as an Ummah, we need to understand, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has kept something unique for us.

It's a gift of the month of Ramadan. Do not spoil it. By fighting over things wherein there is a difference in jurisprudence.

So where you will never be able to bring all the people onto one opinion, you'd rather say, you know what? If you believe this is valid and correct, Alhamdulillah,

if I believe this is valid and correct, Alhamdulillah, we are still brothers and sisters in the deed, you start today, I start tomorrow. Subhanahu wa Ta'ala help us.

But ideally, we should be trying to get ourselves onto one platform for the moon.

But if you were to take a look at the time of the Sahabura, the Allah, regarding certain matters such as the one that glazes in the face,

the incident of Banu Koreida and the Salatul Asr, where the Prophet, Allah, O Allah, has said, told his companions,

he says, none of you should read Salatul Asr except in Banu Koreida. So they immediately rushed towards Banu Koreida.

The time of Salatul Asr was about to expire. Some of them said, we'd rather read it now. Others said, no, let's read it in Banu Koreida.

So some stopped and read it and others waited and read it later on. But the benefit was that later on when they asked Muhammad,

not, Salatul Allah, I think he was saying them, he confirmed that both of them, the intention was to follow the instruction of the Prophet, one of them understood that for that day,

Salatul Asr was connected to a time and not a place. And that was Banu Koreida. And the others understood that what was meant was only make haste,

but it was not an instruction to delay Salatul Asr which is supposed to be during a specific time frame.

And from this we learned that sometimes there will be differences of opinion and we can do very little about it, however.

I want to talk about preparation of the month of Ramadan or four, the month of Ramadan. I know that a lot of us, MashaAllah, we buy an extra freezer in the home.
