Welcome to our Rosary meditation. This is Rosary on the road.

I am at the Millards.

We're sitting by the fire pit

all on the back patio, having great conversation,

a meal. We got the train going by just off in the distance if you can hear that, but there's nothing better than being with people live. So let's begin in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let's call the mind all those that we've

promised to pray for.

Especially praying that Steve White will receive a new heart

and for the healing of Olivia Canoele. The ascension of Jesus into heaven takes place 40 days after Easter.

And even though that was yesterday, the church celebrates the ascension this Sunday,

so that more people can join the celebration.

Now, some wrongly think that Jesus ascends because his mission is fulfilled. And then Pentecost begins

the mission of the Spirit, but that's incorrect. What is Pentecost really? It's about the joint mission of both Jesus and the spirit continuing in us.

Pentecost is the birth of the church,

which means the birth of Jesus in the souls of believers.

That's why we are Christians, We are Christ-bearers.

Pentecost kicks off this new reality of Christ's living in Christians and continuing his mission through them.

That's why when Saul, otherwise known as St Paul, was persecuting the church,

Jesus appeared to him saying,

Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
