ESPN.com. So just a couple programming notes, I will be continued to do the practice updates

for the rest of this week because we are allowed to watch practice each day this week. So today, obviously, on Thursday and then on Friday

as well. Then after the game, I'll have one for Monday morning because it's an 8 o'clock game on

Sunday. Then we get into a different week. So it won't be quite every day because there's not

a practice sport every day. So anyway, just to clear that up for now.

But let's get to today because that's what we're here for.

So Dan Quinn, I'm going to start with Dan Quinn and what he talked about before practice.

A couple of things that stood out a little bit on Johnny Newton.

He said it's not the foot that's bothersome right now.

It's a soft tissue injury.

So they want to try and ramp him up in terms of what he's doing off to the side by the end of

week and maybe get him involved into practice next week. I don't know to what extent. I think

there's still some optimism that he'll be ready before the start of the season. The problem is

he's missed almost all

with camp. And so it's really hard to go in and make an impact. Even if you're back for that time,

it's hard to go in and play to the level you need to if you're just coming back. Because he missed

all of spring. He's missed most of the summer. It's asking a lot for him to go in there and play anything, do anything of substance, because you just,

it's too, it's too hard as a rookie. So he may be bad, but it's still going to be a little
