It's racist of you, but I would love to.

Well, yeah.

So one of my favorite stories you've told on this podcast involves racism and monkeys.

Just give the very short version of that because I thought it was hilarious.

Okay, uh, this took place in a neighborhood in Seattle near a zoo.

The neighborhood is Woodlands Park, something like that.

Anyway, it's near the zoo. And then around Christmas time, or I guess we call it holiday season in Seattle because Christmas is exclusive.

The neighborhood, like the businesses in the neighborhood would put these neon light up monkeys in their windows and the theme was escape from the zoo and so it was this like holiday flare and the neighborhood hired a

DEI coordinator or consultant leader or something like that they were paying money

to this DEI woman and she declared the monkeys racist.

So they did away with the monkeys, which was not actually the best part of the story.

The best part of the story was that the same woman, she also objected to,

they had like a community center in the neighborhood

and they installed a new water fountain.
