ADVERTS DISCLAIMER:
This podcast has ads at the start of every episode. However never in the middle of a story or at the end.
Please be assured all ad blocks have been applied to ensure no over 18 or inappropriate ads are played.
However, there may be the odd occasion where an advert slips through the net because the company submitting them submits them under a category that is not correct. This happens very rarely and I do my upmost to stop this happening.
If this happens, please email me at shortstoriesforkids@gmail.com and let me know the following information: What the ad was for? What state you live in? And what episode you heard it on and I will immediately contact Spreaker to block the ad.
I take this very seriously and I really appreciate your support and co-operation.
As creators, we want your child’s experience to be a pleasurable one. Running adverts is necessary to allow us to operate, but please do consider the premium subscription service as an alternative – it’s ad free.

| 0:00.0 | A long time ago, in a world before electricity, trucks and pizza, there was a dragon, |
| 0:12.1 | and he wasn't very nice. His name was grudge, and his scales were dark, red, and etched with gold, |
| 0:19.6 | while his wings were as black as the night. |
| 0:22.1 | He was big, with a fierce and fiery temper. |
| 0:26.0 | That was bad enough. |
| 0:28.1 | But it wasn't even the worst thing about Grudge. |
| 0:30.7 | You see, Grudge was naughty and mean. |
| 0:35.7 | He liked nothing better than playing tricks on the people of the land, then laughing |

| 0:46.3 | field and put them all on the roof of the barn. How the dragon laughed as he watched the poor |
| 0:53.0 | farmer trying to get them down. |
| 0:55.9 | Then there was that time that Grudge sneaked up on the old stone mill where they ground the |
| 1:01.2 | flour to make everyone's bread. During the night, the naughty dragon stole the enormous water |
| 1:07.5 | will that powered the mill and balanced it on top of the church steeple. He guffed with |
| 1:13.6 | laughter as the miller and his family scratching their heads tried to figure out a way of getting |
| 1:19.2 | it down. Another time, during a hailstorm, the dragon hid on a hill and threw rocks at the palace. |
| 1:26.8 | The king and queen thought giant hailstones |
| 1:29.5 | were falling out of the sky, and this tickled grudge immensely. When it became clear to the royal |
| 1:36.1 | couple what had really happened, and they learned about the incidents that had taken place |
| 1:41.1 | across their kingdom, they decided that something needed to be done. |
| 1:46.0 | We must call a champion to deal with this beast once and for all, |
