A core idea that I'm going to be working after is that inside of each one of us is a

mostly hidden, mostly golden, mostly eternal image,

presence, aspect of being similar to the gold that is buried in the earth.

We are the earthlings, the children of the earth, and therefore we are a replica in a sense of the earth.

One of the ideas that I'll present in a little bit more fully is as above so below, as outside so within.

So in thinking about the earth as a symbol, which is actually interesting because the earth is

usually considered to be the concrete thing, the stable thing below us, but it's also a

symbolic thing.

Myth, by the way, is the combining of concrete and symbolic things.

But within the earth concretely and symbolically,

there are two extremely powerful and hidden things.

I mentioned gold and the other is the fire burning at the center of the earth which they now think is

actually a fire around which there is an open space around which is the earth.
