Katie, I've got a really exciting Rebecca Jones update for you, but first, remind the people who this wonderful young woman is.

Oh, man. Where do I begin? Okay, so Rebecca Jones, friend of the pod, obviously.

Yeah, she has made appearance on this podcast more than, probably more than anybody else,

with the exception of like maybe Robin DiAngelo.

Well, she's never been on, but she's been, she's come up a lot.

She blocked me, so I would ask her, but she blocked me.

She has come up a lot. She blocked me. So I would ask her, but she blocked me. She has come up a lot.

So she became famous during COVID because at the time she was working for the state of Florida.

She's like a data analyst type.

And she very famously claimed that she was fired from her job because the state, Ronda Santis, was trying to cover up COVID deaths.

And this claim got just massive amounts of

positive attention from the mainstream and liberal press. She won literal awards. She was really

seen as a hero and a whistleblower. She actually ran for office after this against Matt Gates.

Spoiler alert, she lost. But it turns out that she was neither a hero nor a whistleblower,

nor a particularly good candidate.

She's a fraud.

And eventually so many stories came out about her. Like it turned out that a few years before she got famous, she'd been teaching at Florida State and she was charged with cyberstalking a student she'd slept with.

And she posted this bizarre 342 page book about their relationship online. Some real

single white female shit. It's actually still online and she uses the guy's real name.

It's the second thing that comes up when you Google him. She had also been charged with

battery and resisting arrest after assaulting a police officer at LSU when she was fired from her job there and refused
