And then we've got no idea what day of the week or indeed what month we're in.

Which is pretty much, that's bad.

At our age, that's not unique, is it? Not knowing what day of the week it is, it's poor, not knowing what month it is precisely is poor. But I've actually been thrown by the fact. You just stood there doing nothing. You didn't even chuckle when we started, let alone leap out from underneath the desk to count me in.

How I, well, I know how you are, because I asked you 45 minutes ago to start of the question.

You're very well, you're very chipper.

The only issue is that there's two flies.

Oh.

Oh, I don't know about you. I don't know what it's like where you live, but we seem to have an uptick on flies this summer. Right? Your buggers. It's one of the many reasons I can't stand summer, Kieran, basically. Ali just got back from Edinburgh, which led, of course, to a two-day frenzy of cleaning on my part. And you just think, how many flies have died in this house in the last?

I didn't notice them.

The trouble with a fly, I find, kidding.

Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.

And I won't, I refuse.

And it's bizarre, I'm not a vegetarian.

I'll happily eat animals, but I won't kill flies.

I can't bring myself to do it. I won't kill wasps either. I'll even help a wasp out. Not that I can tell the difference between the wasp and the bee, but I'll happily shove a glass over it and put a post, which is what I've always wanted to do to Harry the Hornet, the Watford mascot. Always was wanting to put a giant tumbler over him and put a big...
