yes best mates, Crystal Palace is Josie Green. Jocie and I go way back on and off the pitch,

so I'm very excited by the fact that she's pregnant and we're going to talk all about it.

On today's episode,

we discussed pregnancy in the context of football, player support and the present and future

of the Welsh national team. It's a big episode. So let's get stuck in.

I could not be happier that I've got one of my bezzers, a Spurs OG, in the booth with me,

to discuss some really, really exciting news.

I'm beaming, you're beaming.

It's because it's the nicest thing you've ever said to me.

Yeah, generally.

We've been through it.

We've definitely been through it. We've definitely

been through it. And I've definitely said some very shady and weird and just some old things over

the years. I get that. But the nicest thing is to obviously talk about that you're pregnant.

Yes. Congratulations. Thank you so much. How are you feeling, mate? Yeah, I feel good. I feel strong at the moment.

The first trimester humbled me. I will be honest. What did you go through? What's that like? Tell us.

Horror and hell in part. It's not going to lie. And sugarcoat it. The exhaustion was

killer. Yeah, crazy. And I think being an athlete, you're so used to

being in control

of your energy levels and being able to influence them. But yeah, you really couldn't. I was napping nearly every day. Nice. But still managing to train and power through. And, yeah, second trimester, I feel like a new person. Good, a lot stronger and mentally starting to like adapt a bit more too because that's been such an adjustment for me as well. But yeah, I mean, you're glowing. Oh. You're absolutely glowing. When you walked in here, you're absolutely beaving. It just feels so nice. I'm like sharing this like gorgeous news. And I remember obviously we met up in January. We went to Nando's really unsuspecting. We're expecting a teammate, Jenna Scalachi, to be there and form a pod guest. But we've not really heard from Jenna in quite a while. We haven't. A little bit elusive is Jenna. Jenna, if you're listening, it'd be lovely to get a text back.

That'd be great. But, you know, sitting there eating my chicken, mine's my own business, catching up on life. And then obviously you drop this lovely, gorgeous bombshell. And yeah, it just feels like a really, like, special moment. Like, I've seen you, like, grow up in a way. We've been at Spurs for years and years. and then obviously now you're at Palace and we'll talk a little bit about that.
