Hello, everybody and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School Pre-game show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it is time to preview another Knicks matchup this time on Sunday night against the Phoenix Suns.

There is a world where the Knicks actually clinched the three seed in the Eastern Conference.

It would require a win tonight as well as a loss by the Indiana Pacers to the Denver Nuggets.

But the bigger headline coming into

this game is that Jalen Brunson, the captain of the New York Knicks will be making his long

awaited return after a month being away after an ankle injury. For some of you, it may not be a

welcome return because you've enjoyed the 19th best offense in the

NBA, but everybody getting a chance to cook over the last month. We'll see with how well

O'GNan and Obey has played and how well Mikhail Bridges has played, especially on offense,

how they can integrate all of this together. It should be a fun time having

Dailen Brunson back on the court in general. And look, as much as the Nix have had some

struggles and things to complain about this year, we like to add perspective here at Nix

Film School, which is why the pregame pod is so essential, because if you think you've had

a rough time, Knicks fans,

let's talk about the Phoenix Suns. So they come into this game 35 and 42. I believe they're now

either three or four games out of the final playoff spot behind the Sacramento Kings. I believe

it might actually be two games because I think the Kings are 36 and 40. I'll ask my

guess in just a second. So there are the 10th best offense in the NBA, 10th and offensive

rating, but they're the 27th worst defense. It gets 27th best defense, which would make them the fourth

worst defense in the NBA, which gives them the 21st ranked net rating in the NBA.

A lot of questions around this franchise.
