Hello and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School Pre-game show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the Knicks upcoming matchup against the Brooklyn Nets and full transparency.

This team that I've been laughing at every chance that I could, that up until recently the NICS could not beat,

and now they very much should beat, that played

a few hours ago against the Milwaukee Bucks and lost their third straight, also gave the

bucks their 15th consecutive win, this team that the Knicks absolutely should beat on their

way to Miami, I'm terrified in playing. This is a trap game for those who don't know what

that is. When you're looking ahead to the next game that you overlook the opponent you're about to

play, shout out Star Wars. It's a trap. And I am terrified that the Knicks are, have the chance

to overlook this game. This is where I'm going to credit Tom Tippett on this

coaching staff. This team usually shows up ready to play. They've come out flat a few times,

like the first time they played the Nets since the Josh Hartree. I guess two weeks ago when they

played the Nets that first half, they felt a little flat, especially on defense. The Wizards game,

they also felt a little flat until about the mid-second quarter.

I'm a little nervous. And I wonder if any of you are nervous, too, that they are looking ahead to Miami. Maybe only I'm looking ahead to Miami. I want these next two games. Having said that,

Matt Brooks, who covers the Nets for Nets Daily, might put our nerves at ease. He has had a more

inside look than anybody else that we've had to talk about this Brooklyn team. He

paints a different picture of a team that while full of a nice bunch of young pieces that

maybe in the future and with a training camp could mean something,

there's less cohesion and function going on in Brooklyn at the moment. So let's get into it.
