Hello and welcome to another edition of the Nix Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the next upcoming matchup on Monday afternoon

against the Orlando Magic and MLK Day matinee for the Knicks.

We'll take on a magic team that comes in at 21 and 18.

They've been struggling to start 2024.

They're extremely banged up and hurt by injuries. Joel Engels is still

out. Wendell Carter is still out. And Franz Wagner is the big one since the last time the Knicks

played the magic. My goodness, this team is banged up with injuries. And you're going to hear more

about what's happened to this team since the start of 2024 from another fine, fine gentleman from the sixth man show.

And this is the first time I'll be talking to someone from the six man show,

which is part of the Blue Wire podcast network,

since the Magic decided that they were going to break the ice

and finally retire somebody's number.

Shaquille O'Neal's number will be retired on February 13th.

It's actually the day before the Magic Play the Knicks on Valentine's Day this year.

So Jonathan Osborne, who's the host of the Sixth Man Show, I guess their main show,

is going to join me in just a little bit.

Some thoughts about the Magic.

They are 24th in offensive rating this year.
