Hello and welcome to another edition of the Nix Film School pregame pod.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the Knicks upcoming matchup on Tuesday night

against the Los Angeles Lakers, New York, L.A. The two big cities here in the NBA face

off for a matchup on national television on TNT. One might assume that LeBron James is playing because he didn't play last night across the

river against Little Brother in Brooklyn. He is 116 points away from breaking the all-time scoring

record, something I do not think he will do tonight, but will not completely rule it out because

things seem to happen in historic ways against the basketball

team we root for.

Who better to talk about it than friend of the pod, Jacob Rood, who was here over the summer

when we were on a quest to trade Julius Randall and went around to every single content

creator to see if they want Julius Randall as a distressed asset.

That conversation would be very different if we tried to do it again this summer.

But Jacob's awesome.

And we talked a little bit about the Lakers and the tumultuous season that they've had.

And man, the trade market that continues to heat up and how the Lakers, at least Laker fans are

approaching this upcoming trade market.

It's good stuff.

The Laker Knicks connections, I got to be honest, they're kind of stale since the 70s,

the 60s and 70s when the Knicks played the Lakers in the finals for their championships.

They also lost to the Lakers in the finals for a couple of championships as well.

The Jerry West championship that he finally won was over the Knicks.
