Hello and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School Pre-game show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the Knicks matchup against the

Washington Wizards. The post-all-star break life has begun for us here in Nix Land and the Nix

begin it in the nation's capital. What better place than the capital of the U.S. to do anything,

really, right? Right? That's what we all feel, passionate about the things in that U.S. to do anything, really, right?

This is going to turn into a completely different podcast if I don't start talking about basketball.

Shout out to the Knicks for making this season so enjoyable that I'm actually looking forward to this game against the Washington Wizards.

Although, don't be deceived by their 28 and 30 record as Chase Hughes, my guest for today,

who is from NBC Sports Washington and covers the team on a day-to-day basis,

as he will tell you, this is a much better Washington Wizards team than advertised by their record.

In their last 14 games, they are 10 and 4.

They are third in net ratings, second in offense.

They are 17 and 10 in their last 27 games.

And when they're healthy, they are a decent team.

Might actually be closer to where the Knicks are in the standings than where they

are currently. And this is the injury bug that probably will dominate the headlines for the next

couple hours before the game starts. Bradley Beale is questionable for this game. He did not

practice this week. He tweaked his knee in the fourth quarter of their last game before the break against

Minnesota.

And then you add in the Dix may be getting some help back.
