Hello and welcome to another edition of the Nix Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the Knicks

upcoming matchup on Monday night against

the Minnesota Timberwolves. They wrap up this five-game road trip in the Twin Cities.

Joining me in just a little bit will be Chris Hine. He covers the Timberwolves for the Minneapolis Star

Tribune. A really good conversation broke down this really good start to the season for

the Timberwolves and a pregame pod first and maybe a Knicks film school first. He joined

me on a very special day of his, or in his life, I should say. More on that in just a second.

When we get to the interview, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Some Nick's

Timberwolves connections, the most obvious one, the most recent job that Tom

Tibbeto had before he was with the Knicks, I guess coaching job, I should say, because I know he,

I guess he worked for ESPN for a hot minute, and that's where that gift comes from.

He was the president of basketball operations and the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

So thankfully, he doesn't do both of those jobs anymore and just does one, one of which I think he's good at.

And I think how long it took for him to pull the Kempa plug or pull the Alfred Payton plug or pull the Derek Rose and Evan Fournier plug last year.

Speaks to why he wasn't so successful in his other job and evaluating talent, but he's done a

great job so far this year. I know that's like Venom to hear for some people, but it's my opinion.
