Hello and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the next upcoming matchup against the Atlanta Hawks,

a rivalry that will not go away against two teams destined to win nothing more than a couple of playoff games at best, maybe even in the first round.

And yet we have fun with it anyway, because it's New York

and Atlanta, to the Mets fans out there listening, I don't have to tell you why New York,

Atlanta is such a big rivalry. And who else better to talk about this rivalry than someone who has

been front row and seen and called with his own voice and seen with his own two eyes every

Hawks game for the past 2,872 that have been played. And that Steve Holman, the legendary

play-by-play voice on the radio for the Atlanta Hawks. He was kind enough to join me for about half an hour to talk about this hawk season

and this turnaround over the past couple games.

Suddenly, how winning has cured all of the rumors and the dysfunction that seemed to be there.

We know a little bit, something like that.

On the day we thought Tibbs was going to get fired was the day one of an eight-game winning streak.

I'll be curious to see how this next little stretch operates.

Before we get into the Knicks-Hawks connections, which are obvious.

This upcoming stretch might be a little difficult for the Knicks,

even this game against an Nekka, Okongwu, and Clint Capella,

because they'll be doing it without Mitch Robinson,

who is out for the next three weeks at minimum.

He broke a bone in his thumb on Wednesday night against Washington

and had surgery on it to repair it and will be out for the
