Robert, I'm starting to think the Jeff Fisher was not a good NFL coach.

It is amazing just to watch the difference. It's unbelievable. I wrote about Jared Goff for the ringer yesterday.

Just his progression and him looking so much better this year. And it's striking. I mean, I really can't believe it's the same guy.

And just beyond that, the entire offense looks decent. I know it's the 49ers. They beat up on two pretty bad teams, but it still is remarkable.

Just how different it was. I mean, there's two ways. Look at it. Obviously, we need to pump the breaks a little bit.

It is the Colts and then the 49ers who are probably two bottom five roster talent teams in league.

Having said that it's reminding me a little bit and it's not going to be the same. I don't want anybody to make the comparison, but just a stark difference between one season to the next and guys who I didn't think were good looking to win.

Reminds me a little bit of when Harbott took over the 49ers. Just like guys who you didn't think had anything in the tank and they were giving you something last night.

And I'm not just talking about golf. I'm just talking about all the guys on the offense. I mean, Robert Woods looked okay last night.

I think everyone around the ringer was making fun of the rubber wood signing for the entire summer basically.

And so I just think that McVeigh's ability to to make this team look competent when they looked so horrendously incapable of doing anything last year.

It's really a testament to how good of a coach he is.

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, he's a real NFL coach and I was talking to Trent over this week about Jared golf and he just was talking about how it's a system league in so many ways.
