Welcome back to book. I talk is another market down Monday. I've made them

paired along with Douglas Lamaries and Stephen Means. We are marking down Ohio

States opening day lineup on both sides of the ball. We've marked down position

battles in the past and sort of separated out just a handful of them. There

aren't a lot of them this year. Really. I mean, as far as like like crucial

position battles, Doug, does this feel like almost the smallest number of

consequential position battles going into a season in recent memory? I mean,

15 didn't have many, right? Well, okay, that national team. Yeah, I mean, you just

you happen to get and it's one of those things where a year ago, Ryan Day,

talk all preseason, all during the season about how young they were and then a

year after you're really young, you have a lot of right rather established guys

back to do the same thing. And even at some of the places where you lost your

best players, it's kind of Bobby, you know, Chris Olave has gone, Garrett Wilson has

gone, Tyreeke Smith has gone, but we're not exactly sitting around like pull

our hair out, trying to figure out who's going to replace those guys at starters.

So it's I don't even know that it's a cycle. It's just sort of like it just

happens sometimes. Sometimes you're really young and the result is the next year

you're really established. Steven is a good thing or a bad thing that Ohio State

goes into a season with so few position battles, which is a relevant question

only because they, especially on defense, they were dissatisfied with the
