I'm on the phone with Ashfin, and today we are discussing Predator from 1987, directed by John McTiernan, written by Jim and John Thomas, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, Bill Duke, Sunny Landham, and Kevin Peter Hall.

In this film, a special ops military crew is sent on a mission into the jungle to rescue a foreign minister from guerrillas, but they soon find out that the real

enemy is something unlike anything they've ever encountered. Actually, I think it's a foreign cabinet.

I don't know. Somebody important. Uh, if you're new to the show, we're going to just discuss some

spoiler-free info on the movie, background info and stuff like that for the

first 15 or 20 minutes here, but then when you hear our musical interlude, that means we're

headed into spoiler territory. So if you're a weirdo like me and haven't seen this movie yet,

then that would be the time to duck out. And that's why we chose this, because I revealed that I haven't seen it

and have been given shit for it.
