Do you remember that, oh, that gorgeous epic song from Baz Lerman, it's called Everybody's Free?

Often it's known as the Where Sunscreen song.

It was huge, like this is over 20 years old because he starts by speaking about the graduation class of 99.

But I love this song. I remember being mesmerized it. Me and my sister both were.

When it came out, we love listening to it, we just turned it up,

it just felt so real and honest and deep. Put it on, actually, maybe after this episode and

just see how it makes you feel.

But I want to share with you today a passage from that incredible song

that I've been thinking about lately and maybe it's because it's, know we're heading towards year end and I'm

planning my next year and I have this policy that I put these stakes in the ground before a new year begins when I'm seeing my family,

when I'm taking vacation, I prioritize the things that matter because otherwise life just comes

at you, right right we keep pushing things

off pushing things off thinking there'll be time in the future I love to come back

to this and this it's almost as if these lyrics have just stayed with me somehow as I become more and more conscious,

you know, even as I get older, about what deserves my time, my energy, my money, my resources, all of those things that are very, very precious.

Get to know your parents.

You never know when they'll be gone for good.

Be nice to your siblings.

They are best linked to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go, but a precious view who should hold on.
