This graveyard was like a lot of others in isolated areas was very obscured, hardly visible because of the amount of debris, you might say,

and foliage which covered them up.

The story that they've told here through their efforts can be used to tell a wider story about an awful lot of the key events in Irish history, going back from the

early medieval period all the way through to the modern period to the days we're living in today. As you walk around, you'll see Neolithic rock art, you see stone crosses.

One of the stone crosses may have even sat on top of the church that once stood here in the 12th century.

And then in 1798... that one

in the 12th century. And then in 1790s there was a rebellion here in the Wexford, South Wicklow area.

There was one over west and male and there was one up in the northeast around Antrim down all that area there.
