This show is about me talking about things I'm going

through each week, which is always something. That's kind of how life is. And I hope to give you

perspective on how I've overcome challenges and may have failed by being more vulnerable and more open

about what I'm going through. Last week was no exception. It was difficult, but it was different.

What I'm going to talk to you guys about is something I'm very uncomfortable talking about.

But I know as a advocate of these type of things, also as somebody who believes that veterans are suffering, especially Gwatt veterans, including my peers, that saw the brunt of sustained combat for the last

two decades.

They're suffering.

Now, this subject matter is different because it involves psilocybin.

And I will tell you, from from personal experience i didn't really understand

cannabinoids psilocybin and all these alternative solutions for many options that existed

to manage or deal with trauma, loss of purpose, traumatic brain injury.

I mean, the list goes on and on. So profoundly, I have been involved in veteran advocacy

since I got out of the military in 2016.

I've been asked by nonprofits, institutions, and people to advocate for their specific mission.

In one case, at a 501c3, fly me out to, I won't even name the state because you'll pinpoint it, this rural place where

they offered a hunting experience and also like a retreat, an opportunity to build tribe,

brotherhood. Well, I did that and they gave me three deer tags. I killed the three deer, harvested the three

deer in about a minute because it was a tree stand, and we know that that's not really hunting.
