but it's a whole lot more than a simple tale of romance between a man and a woman.

When we come to something like the book of Ruth, we have to immerse ourselves in if you like the sights and the sounds and the

smells and the tastes. Ruth invites us to feel deeply and it will then be our

understanding of the gospel which will prevent us from making any kind of wrong applications from the book,

so that we might be able to apply it properly.
