No disciple of Jesus, not one of them, understands our Lord and has a deeper intimacy with him than Mary. She has the most profound, personal, beautiful relationship with Jesus. And so when we pray the Rosary, what we are doing is asking Mary to pray for us and with us, that we may be able to penetrate the mysteries of the gospel that reveals the life of Jesus to us.

0:22.3	just inviting everyone to take time to spend with Jesus. Whatever time you were going to give to
0:28.8	the podcast, I encouraged you, hey, if you're going to give 30 minutes, 45 minutes of the podcast,
0:34.0	how about you give that time to Jesus? And I got a lot of positive feedback from that invitation.
0:39.8	But I've also heard from a number of people, man, I tried to give the Lord that time, but when I went
0:44.7	to going pray, I didn't know what to do. And I've heard you talk about the rosary before and I heard
0:50.2	you talk about Lexi O'Levena with the Bible and the adoration of the bus of sacrament. But I don't
0:56.6	know how to do it well. I really struggle with the practicals. And I've heard that a lot actually
1:03.9	thought my limited experience as a priest. And so I figured, why don't I spend an episode
1:11.6	not only talking about prayer and inviting you to pray with me and for me, of course, because I
1:16.8	definitely need your prayers, but praying, like leading you in prayer so that you can kind of have
1:22.3	an example of how to pray, how to pray well. And so what I want to do for this podcast is I want
1:29.7	to invite you into the way that I pray. And one of the prayers that is a constant in my life is
1:35.8	the rosary. And so the rosary is one of the most powerful prayers that we could pray as disciples of
1:41.4	Jesus. It's a Christos-centric prayer, a Christ-centered prayer, which a lot of people don't get,
1:46.4	sometimes people think it's a Marion prayer, but it's actually a Christ-centered prayer in which we
1:52.4	ask our lady, the blessed Virgin Mary, who was the only disciple to be with Jesus from the moment of
1:57.3	his incarnation, his first miracle at the wedding of Cana. She was there for him whenever he
