What is your great need today? You know, every day we have certain needs. We need rest.

We need water. We need food. We need oxygen. You know every day we have certain needs. We need rest, we need water, we need food,

we need oxygen. But in life there are days where there are great needs and I have no

idea where you're listening from today or what your need does happen to be but I

want to tell you God knows exactly what your need is we've come

in our study of this most famous prayer in the world to a beautiful verse Luke

11 verse 3 give us day by day our daily bread what a verse what a verse is he every day we have needs, but every day God not only

knows what that need is, but he has all sufficiency to meet that need. You remember that we've

compared Luke chapter 11 to the teaching of the Lord in Matthew chapter 6. In Matthew chapter 6, the wording says

this. Matthew 611 says, give us this day our daily bread. You see, you can only live one day at a time.

And so sometimes we're asking for tomorrow's bread today, but no, we need today's bread. And so we must

live simply for this day.

Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou know us not what a day may bring forth.

This is the day the Lord hath made.

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Could I challenge you to live this day for the Lord Jesus?

And to trust him this day.

But in our text of Luke chapter 11, the Bible says in verse number three,

give us, I love this beautiful phrase, day by day, our daily bread.
