Summary

Miracles might not be common, but they still happen… and Paul Maconochie has seen more than his fair share. A pastor, leader, and close friend of BT, Paul returns to the podcast to talk about healing prayer—how to do it, when to do it, and what to expect. Paul’s experience of seeing God heal others through prayer makes him one of the foremost experts on the topic. In prayer, like life, reward always lies on the other side of risk. No matter what you believe about God, prayer, or healing, this conversation has something to get you moving.

Crossroads is hosting Nights of Healing Prayer with Paul Maconochie—part workshop, part experience—at all sites and online throughout January and February, 2026. Everyone welcome. Dates, times, and more details here.

The bottom line is I went and got one of my guns and shot it out of my window. It was awesome. I mean, I have a perfect place to do that. It's a hillside in the back. It's a, it can't, the bullet's not going to go anywhere. And about blew my eardrum out because I, the muzzle blast was inside the if I'd stuck it outside the window I wouldn't have blown my left ear drum out practically but then neighbors would have heard it too so anyway so I killed this thing I was going to my the plan was to when I started to go track it was to because you ever know exactly if you killed it I saw it jump when I pulled the trigger I saw a jump but I gotta go track it was to you never know exactly if you killed it. I saw it jump when I pulled the trigger. I saw it jump. But I got to go track this thing. So fall on the blood trail. Of course, of course, I got him. But the plan was to maybe I'll, maybe I'll make a mount. Have a coyote howling on the side of the wall. That'd be kind of maybe I'll do a full body mount maybe we'll do whatever and I got up to him he was he was smaller than I was hoping because I'd seen him before they're they're like German Shepherd size they're ridiculous I early in the day I saw one across the other street across our front yard German shepherd size one and there was two or three

So I dragged it out. But unfortunately, it's been so cold, it just froze. It's just frozen. Yeah, none of his buddies can smell him to come eat them. So he's hanging out under snow right now. And then sometime in spring, he's going to start smelling pretty stank. and hopefully we'll have a cornucopia of...
