| 0:00.0 | This is the Join the Journey weekly prayer podcast. |
| 0:13.1 | Unlike our new Tuesday teaching episodes, this time is set apart for guided prayer as we abide in Jesus together. |
| 0:20.6 | Here's your host, Wes Butler. Well, |
| 0:24.0 | welcome back, friends and family. I'm so thankful that our Watermark family, this is just one of the |
| 0:28.7 | ways that we get to connect with one another each and every week as we spend time in prayer that is |
| 0:35.7 | reflective of what we're reading as we make our way through the journey this |
| 0:39.1 | year. And so today we're going to take a look at the passage that comes at the end of chapter |

| 1:41.3 | the first is this. |
| 1:42.5 | I think about the fact that it was pretty mind-blowing to |
| 1:46.6 | the Jews at that time that this was going to happen, that the gospel was going to spread |
| 1:53.0 | beyond the Jews, that this gospel that Jesus had proclaimed would go to the Gentiles. And, |
| 1:59.1 | of course, we're so thankful for God's vision to Peter. We're so |
| 2:03.5 | thankful for his discernment, for his compassion, for the Gentiles that led him ultimately to go back |
| 2:10.7 | and to tell the church about what was going to happen. But it reminds me personally, and it convicts me, |
