| 0:55.6 | some time thinking on, praying for, and asking the Lord to do something great in us. And that marker |
| 1:01.1 | is that we want to be a spirit-led church. What does that mean? Well, we're going to spend some time |
| 1:06.5 | this week unpacking that and considering what that means, frankly, it means a lot when you consider |
| 1:11.3 | all that the Spirit of God is left here to do. And so we don't have time to talk about all of the |
| 1:17.7 | things. But as I was just planning for this particular episode, there were just three things |
| 1:22.5 | that I thought would be good for us to focus in on that the spirit does and that we in response to the |
| 1:28.8 | spirit not wanting to quench the spirit but instead that we would be filled with the spirit and |
| 1:33.4 | led by him that these are just three things that I think we have an opportunity this week to respond |
| 1:39.0 | to so the first thing that came to mind is just that we would be a people who listen to the conviction of the spirit. |
| 1:46.2 | And so we just want to pray for that. |
| 1:47.3 | And in John 16, Jesus says, he says, I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away. |
| 1:52.7 | For if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you. |
| 1:55.8 | That's the spirit. |
