For the last several Sunday mornings, we've been talking about prayer, principles, principles of prayer.

And in James 5 and verse 13, James 5 and 13.

He said, is any among you afflicted?

That word involves the idea of going through tests, going through trials, problems, tribulation.

What do you do?

Let him pray, pray.

Let who pray? Him, the one that's going through the problems. Let him pray. Don't always try to get other people to do you praying for you. You pray for yourself. I've had men tell me before, you know, well, my wife is the prayer in the family.

And then they went on to imply that they didn't do much praying.

Well, thank God for your wife that can pray, but she can't do your praying for you.

Right?

And thank God for your mother who can pray.

But you better learn how to pray for yourself.

Let him pray.

Is any Mary?

Let him sing songs.

Well, that's just as true.

You get happy.

God's done something for you.

What do you do now?
